This online retailer had a real light bulb moment when trying to figure out the best way to draw new customers to the site. With the help of OC Designs Online they are now the proud owners of a stunning BigCommerce store design!
BigCommerce stores offer tons of features and that’s why our graphic designers like creating them so much! At the top of The UV Light Bulb’s storefront we inserted their noticeable logo, and the top right is home to BigCommerce store elements where shoppers can review their account, shopping cart, order status, or create a wish list. All are set against a bright, electric blue backdrop and contrasted with white accents.
The top navigation bar offers our designers the ability to include different elements. Here we included a home button, a UV Lamp Finder tab, and links to FAQs, company information and contact details.
Designers have also creatively asked the questions ‘why shop with us?’ in a distant, soft graphic behind vibrant blue promises of low prices, large selection, industry experts, and fast shipping.
Just below these introductory fields is an informative welcome message complete with creative graphic representation of the products in store.
The left sidebar offers store categories—another way to easily navigate this BigCommerce store with subheadings to make shopping and browsing a snap.
Customers are also alerted to the site’s policy of free shipping on selected items and international shipping rates. Just below is an aptly placed graphic reminding buyers that not only will their purchases be shipped quickly, but they are guaranteed immediate response times should ever they need to contact customer service.
Easy-to-navigate categories ride along side the vertical listings. This is especially nice for buyers who prefer to shop with visual cues of the products they wish to acquire.
A panel of four horizontal ‘featured products’ rounds out the website. Each includes a brief description, clear price, and prominent ‘add to cart’ button so customers can quickly add any last minute items to their order. The section also features a hassle free returns graphic, types of payments they accept and assurance that the customer’s satisfaction is always guaranteed.
The bottom of the BigCommerce store design is segmented from the gray background with the same high-pigmented blue to match the top navigation bar and includes a mini sitemap along side the crafty logo.
