When Niko Beauty approached us to have us create a fresh look for their eBay store, we were happy to help. Our client specializes in selling nail polishes and nail art supplies. We wanted to create a page for them that was as fun as the products they sell. We think that it did a great job, and they’re happy with the increased business they’ve seen.
We used pink as the main color throughout the site. We pulled the pink from our client’s logo, and then we used a complementary green to really make the site stand out. From there, we choose gradient gray for backgrounds. This allows the different nail polishes and nail art products to stand out and make a great impression on the customers visiting the site.
We wanted the header to depict the products sold
What we did was used an image of a nail polish jar and a nail brush to create visual interest while advertising that there are new products available in the store. These work together to help draw customers into the site. At the very top of the page, customers will find the store logo and the store’s contact information. Below that is a menu with tabs offering new arrivals and weekly deals. All of this works together to create a positive customer experience while browsing our client’s store
Our deal of the day box goes a long way toward increasing sales
We created a sidebar deal of the day box to help increase our client’s sales. Daily deal boxes go a long way toward encouraging customers to come back for more. When we create a deal box, our client can use an image of the product being sold, and there’s a countdown timer, encouraging customers to make their purchase before the timer runs out. It’s a great feature that we’re offering our clients.
We included featured items and special deals in this custom eBay store
In addition to the deal of the day, featured items and special deals sections on our client’s storefront help to bring customers back for more. Featured items offer customers a chance to see what’s new, on sale, of particular interest, or popular in the store. Special deals function like the daily deal; they are a way to encourage customers to purchase now rather than later.
