We created a design on par with top performing national stores
We at OCDesignsonline started with a grey background with scattered floating diamonds and bokeh elements. We made sure to work with a background image that was not too busy and showed sophistication and we think we succeeded with this look.
Then for the accent color we chose a regal deep red. It really pops against the grays and whites in the design.
For the main page we made sure to create welcome images that connate the spirit of our client’s brand and what they sell, while also creating a popular categories section to increase browsing time for potential customers. Showing that they feature brands such as Rolex, Cartier, Gucci, and more helps increase the legitimacy to customers that may be on the fence.
We also included other value added banners like their closeout specials and PayPal secure logos. Sprinkling in little guarantees like this is also a legitimacy tool since some users that aren’t as familiar with eBay may not realize what a valid platform it is.
An About Us page can make a significant impression
Many eBay sellers undervalue the importance of a robust about page. This page can be the final metric that turns a new customer into a long-term returning customer. If someone feels for a brand, they are more likely to shop with them on multiple occasions.
